Fluff & Pixel Studios is a small independent game studio.

We make warm, careful little games for people who want to relax, not compete.

Fluff, and Pixel

Fluff is the crocheted one.

Pixel is the cube.

Between them they cover most of what we love: soft handmade things, and the blocky little worlds that came out of early video games. Our games try to sit somewhere in the middle. Something you would want to hold, made digitally.

Why our games are like this

We are not trying to build a company that grows. We are trying to make a handful of small games that are good.

That means making things you could hand to a seven-year-old and still enjoy playing yourself. It means a game you can put down for a month and pick up without being punished for the gap, because a game shouldn't be a chore you've fallen behind on. And it means building with VoiceOver on from the first day instead of the last, because "we'll add accessibility later" is how it never gets added.

Our first game to market, Rainbow Tile Slide, is free, forever, and there are no ads in it. That's a promise about that game. We'll tell you plainly what each new one is.

Fluff & Pixel Studios is a grand name for one person and a laptop. The code, the art, the sounds, the accessibility work, the tiny turtle icon: same person.

That means we ship slowly. It also means a real human reads every support email, and if something in one of our games is broken for you, you are telling the person who can fix it.

How small is small?
